ANS: SRT is treatment designed to relieve neck pain, back pain, disc pain, and headaches. Also referred pain, numbness, and tingling to the arms, hands, legs--such as sciatica--, and feet can be treated by SRT.
ANS: Developed from research at NASA, Spinal Rejuvenation Therapy, or SRT, uses State-of-the-art technology. SRT combines new technology to rehydrate, regenerate, and re-build not only red tissues (muscles and tendons), but also white tissues (discs and ligaments). SRT reverses the damaging effects of gravity on the body, without having to go into space. Traditional chiropractic only can target red tissue. Therefore, to make permanent changes and correct postural problems, SRT is necessary. Before this new technology, the only treatment for disc bulges and herniations was drugs and surgery.
ANS: Absolutely NOT!! In fact, if done with proper pre and post protocols, the patient usually ENJOYS the treatment, saying that it relieves pain and "feels great".
ANS: For qualified candidates, the sessions are extremely safe, non-invasive, non-surgical, and no drugs are utilized. The only side effects reported seem to be a slight increase in soreness in some patients during the first session. This only happens in about 20 percent of cases, and usually subsides quickly.
ANS: Spinal Rejuvenation Therapy combines spinal correction with decompression, body weighting, body hydration, traction, specific physical therapy protocols pre and post the SRT table, and home care, to create an UNPRECEDENTED SYSTEM with UNPRECEDENTED RESULTS. Spinal Decompression has about an 86% success rate alone, but when we combine that with these pre and post protocols, the success rate jumps to 94% nationwide...But more importantly, the results of decompression alone are temporary, whereas with SRT, these are permanent changes we are making.
ANS: Great! If you have an MRI or Nerve test, bring it with you, it will help DR. Steve make a more accurate assessment to see if you qualify for this treatment. As far as other treatment like cortisol injections or prescription drugs you are taking, most can be done concurrently with this treatment, and DR. Steve always makes it a point to meet personally with your general practitioner to get his/her input on your treatment.
ANS: Absolutely. In fact, many of our patients have surgery scheduled at the time they start SRT, and many of those patients ultimately cancel their surgeries, because they have resolved the condition, and no longer feel they need surgery!
ANS: This depends on the case. Once the Doctor has determined what would be best for your case, he will make recommendations appropriately. Your treatment sessions are typically comfortable and relaxing, and you can wear your normal clothing. Most patients do not require time off work to make their sessions, and most find our late hours make it easy to fit into their schedules.
ANS: Call us at 703-396-7770 today to schedule a FREE, no obligation consultation with the Doctor. Once the Doctor determines that you may be a candidate, he will review x-rays, MRI/CT scans or other testing to determine if you are a candidate.
